| PacificMas Berhad ("the Company") wishes to announce for public information that as at 31 December 2004, 31.27% of the issued and paid-up share capital of the Company were held by foreigners. |
| The percentage of foreign shareholdings that has exceeded the Company's 30% maximum foreign shareholding limit ("Limit") is 1.27%. |
| Pursuant to the Securities Industry (Central Depositories) (Foreign Ownership) Regulations 1996, shares held by foreigners which are within the Limit shall be entitled to all rights and entitlements attached to the shares. However, shares held by foreigners which have exceeded the Limit shall not be entitled to voting rights but shall be entitled to all rights and entitlements attached to the shares. |
