| We refer to announcement by PacificMas dated 2 April 2008, in which it was announced that PacificMas was granted an extension of time by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") to comply with the Public Shareholding Spread by today. |
| In this regard, we on behalf of PacificMas, had on 5 June 2008 sought the approval from Bursa Securities for the following: |
| (i) |
to recognise the public shareholding spread of PacificMas as at 16 May 2008 of 16.46% or such other reasonable lower percentage of public shareholding spread as allowed by Bursa Securities as being in compliance with the Public Shareholding Spread; and/or |
| (ii) |
to allow PacificMas to have an extension of time of six (6) months from 26 June 2008 to comply with the Public Shareholding Spread as approved/determined by Bursa Securities. |

| Appropriate announcement will be made when PacificMas receives the decision from Bursa Securities in respect of the above. |
