| We refer to our quarterly announcement made on 26 August 2008 which stated, amongst others that, on 5 August 2008, PacificMas had submitted a proposed rectification plan involving substantial shareholders ("Proposed Rectification Plan") to comply with the Public Shareholding Spread for the consideration of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”). |
| We wish to announce that Bursa Securities has via its letter dated 15 September 2008 , rejected the Proposed Rectification Plan. |
| Bursa Securities had previously granted an extension of time to comply with the Public Shareholding Spread until 25 September 2008 . Following the above-mentioned rejection by Bursa Securities, PacificMas will apply to Bursa Securities for a further extension of time and will submit another proposed rectification plan to comply with the Public Shareholding Spread. |
