| We refer to our announcement dated 25 July 2008 in relation to the approval granted by Bank Negara Malaysia to PacificMas to commence preliminary negotiations with OSK Holdings Berhad to dispose of all the issued and paid-up share capital of the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, The Pacific Insurance Berhad. |
| In relation thereto, PacificMas wishes to inform Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad that on 19 September 2008, both PacificMas and OSK Holdings Berhad have mutually agreed to cease all negotiations in relation to the above proposed disposal by PacificMas. |
