| PacificMas wishes to announce that on 13 October 2008, Pac Lease Sdn Bhd (“Pac Lease”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PacificMas, has accepted a financing arrangement i.e. Purchase with Recourse Scheme (“the Facility”) of up to RM100 million from Cagamas Berhad. |
| The Facility will allow Pac Lease to sell its hire purchase and leasing debts on a recourse basis to Cagamas Berhad. |
| The Facility is to be secured by a corporate guarantee of PacificMas of up to RM100 million. |
| The principal business activities of Pac Lease are leasing, hire purchase and other related financial services. |
