| On behalf of PacificMas, we wish to announce that Bursa Securities had vide its letter dated 15 July 2008, informed that it is unable to recognise PacificMas' public shareholding spread of 16.46% as at 16 May 2008 as being in compliance with the public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to paragraph 8.15(1) of the Listing Requirement of Bursa Securities ("Spread Requirement"). However, Bursa Securities has resolved to grant PacificMas an extension of time of three (3) months from 26 June 2008 until 25 September 2008 to comply with the Spread Requirement. |
| In this regard, PacificMas wishes to inform that it is in the midst of finalising a rectification plan to address the Spread Requirement. Details of the rectification plan will be announced once it is finalised. |
| Based on the Company's Record of Depositors as at 30 June 2008, the public shareholding spread of PacificMas is 16.46% (representing 28,150,350 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in PacificMas) with 9.320 public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares each. |
