Mr. Lai Wan started his career with
Bank Negara Malaysia ("BNM") in December 1964. He
was with BNM for 20 years before he left BNM's service in 1985
as Deputy Head of Bank Examination Department. From July 1985
to March 1994, he had held senior management positions in three
financial institutions. He joined The Pacific Bank Berhad in
March 1994 as General Manager and was promoted to the position
of Chief Executive Officer in January 1999. He retired as Chief
Executive Officer of The Pacific Bank Berhad on 1 January 2001
following the disposal of banking business to Malayan Banking
Berhad. |
