PacificMas Berhad was incorporated on 30 May 1963. The principal activities of the Company are investment holding and the provision of management services to companies within the Group.

The principal activities of the subsidiaries are the underwriting of general insurance business, establishment and management of unit trust funds and asset management, leasing, hire-purchase and other related financing services, property investment and management, and investment holding.

Following the completion of the take-over of PacificMas Berhad by OCBC Capital (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited ("OCBC"), on 18 April 2008, PacificMas Berhad became a member of OCBC Group. OCBC is Singapore's longest established local bank and today, one of Asia's leading financial services groups.
